Dr. Notorianni has been my cardiologist for several years. He always listens and makes me feel that he cares. I feel fortunate to have him as my cardiologist.

Outstanding Diagnostician & Cardiologist!

Dr. Notarianni is an excellent diagnostician in the area of cardiovascular health. I have been seeing him for multiple years, and trust him and the entire Virginia Heart team. He has helped me with my cardiovascular health plan, staying professional and proactive. His knowledge and experience is clearly evident, with a personality of caring attitude with ability to weigh options based on individual needs and preferences. I cannot recommend more highly to anyone reading this and needing cardiovascular care.

Not enough stars

Dr. Notarianni treated my husband’s cardiomyopathy for many years and it was only due to the excellent medical care that he received that he lived a full and active life for many more years than expected. Dr. Notarianni deserves all the credit for that because in addition to the superior complex medical care he received it was the personal attention that made the difference. There was never a time that Dr. Notarianni wasn’t available to patiently listen, explain the options in understandable terms, offer advice, make referrals and he always made the time to visit whenever my husband was hospitalized. He is the most caring of doctors, warm, compassionate, thoughtful with a wonderful sense of humor and a genuine interest in his patients. We felt fortunate and grateful to have had him as his cardiologist. He also extends the same level of care to me and my mother. Cannot recommend Dr. Notarianni highly enough.

Possible Heart concern - Outstanding care

Having used Dr. Notarianni for several years based on the recommendations from my PCP Dr. Dale Matthews (ret. Internal Med, Georgetown Prof, etc.). He is a highly skilled provider with a terrific “bedside manner” that is lost on many providers today. He really cares about his patients and takes time to totally understand my needs. At first his team thought I had AFib and after further testing he was able to say it was due to a procure I had in mid-October. Unlike others I have worked with he is not a “drug dispenser” having taken me off all meds. Moving forward. I could go on however I’m out of cycles. Absolutely love the guy and his team - definitely a Top Doctor.

I'd avoid this doctor at all costs. Referred to Virginia Heart (VH) for Lexiscan nuclear stress test for elevated troponin levels as VHC inpatient 2/8-14/21 . EKG, echocardiogram all normal at VHC, total cholesterol=96, BP normally low. VHC & 2 VH doctors documented I was asymptomatic for heart problems. Scheduled screening at VH office 3/4 w/nurse & Lexiscan 3/9/21 w/Dr Notarianni. Was assured I would meet him after Lexiscan & he would explain results & answer questions. After test, I waited in patient lounge w/ opening adjacent to main hall. Dr. Notarianni came & stood between non-private lounge & hall & told me my test results were normal & heart was fine-unprofessional violation of HIPPA privacy-& returned to his office. My VH records still have "acute NSTMI and Atherosclelotic Heart Disease of Native Coronary Artery without Angina Pectoris" but he offered ZERO treatment/ followup/referral for VH diagnosed conditions. Entire "collaboration" was 15-30 seconds.

It was a tele-medicine meeting on Thursday, 4/23. Dr. Notarianni was his usual pleasant, professional self who spent at least 30 minutes responding to questions from both my wife and myself. He was extremely thorough in explaining to us the progression of my heart stenosis problem. We were both extremely reassured.
