I found Dr. Moghimi and his staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. On my first visit with Dr. Moghimi (and after looking at my MRI) he knew exactly what and why I was experiencing so much pain and the solution to fix it. We discussed in length the surgery that I needed to have in order to improve my quality of life. The surgery went very well and I am no longer in pain. I recommend Dr. Moghimi if you are experiencing any neck or back pain. I am a very satisfied and grateful patient. Also, if any back or neck issues happen to come up in the my future, I certainly will be contacting him again.

I had major back surgery 3 years ago after being flat on my back for several months caused by a fall from my bicycle. My doctor finally recommended an MRI (The delay was my fault, not his!),and sent the results to Dr. Moghimi, who called before 8:00 am the very next morning to tell me that I had a badly herniated disc, and should see him immediately. I did, and the subsequent back surgery literally saved my life (I’m now 85). I owe my life to his skill, patience, and kindness. He’s the best!

After struggling with doctors who seemed not to care for over 2 years, Dr. Moghimi and his team were fantastic. Best physician I've ever been associated with. And I'm pain free and will stay that way. Can't recommend him strongly enough.

Dr Moghimi came highly recommend. He was the only surgeon in many states that would even do this surgery. He was very confident about the results. One week later the results are in. And is great. He has the bedside manner I’ve seen. He talk to me like a was family. I can’t say enough about how great he is. He is all that plus everything else.

I am a senior who was experiencing extreme back pain and unable to accomplish daily activities. Dr Moghimi said my only option was surgery. This has made my life liveable again, the joy of being pain free. This was the easiest of the several surgeries I have had.

Knowing you have a herniated cervical disc is scary enough without the fear of finding a doctor who will take the time to listen to your needs, worries, and expectations. Dr. Moghimi is that doctor! He was very compassionate and listened to all my complaints and fears and assured me that he will do what needs to be done to correct the issue. He truly listens to the patient and goes with what they are willing to do and try. We first started out with physical therapy but I later decided that we ne

When I first went to Dr. Moghimi, I was in constant intense sciatic nerve pain in my leg from severe spinal stenosis. I had this pain for at least 6 months. Dr. Moghimi explained that I needed spinal fusion surgery to repair my spine and relieve the pain. After my surgery, my leg was pain-free (as he said it would be). I am still on the road to recovery, but I can now function normally again. Dr. Moghimi gave me back my life.

Dr Moghimi is a great surgeon. A quite complicated back surgery went without a single issue. We really appreciated the minimum invasive technique that Dr Moghimi used. After the surgery my wife's problems with pain and lack of control below the waist just went away. Thank you, Dr. Moghimi.

I saw Dr Moghimi for the problems I was having with my coccyx. For the last 2 years, the pain had progressively gotten worse and over the last year, I felt like the coccyx was just floating loose. I had pain that was absolutely off the charts! My quality of life was abysmal and I was at my wit's end. I had tried EVERYTHING to avoid surgery but had the coccygectomy in August and it was the best thing I ever did! I have my life back!! I can't say enough about the great care I received!!!

For those of you considering spine surgeons, I want to share my positive experience with Dr. Michael Moghimi. I was suffering mightily from nerve pain that stretched from my neck to thumb. With X-rays and an MRI, Dr. Moghimi determined that I was a textbook case for C5-C6 ACDF surgery. He performed surgery two weeks ago and I feel fantastic. His team is excellent and the communication with them has been clear and easy. I'm glad he was my surgeon.

After two spinal surgeries 30 years ago and a lifetime since of crippling back pain, my wife insisted that I consult with Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin where she had had a dramatically successful hip revision three years before. We met with spine specialist Michael Moghimi, M.D., and his staff. They were friendly, professional, and direct. Now, six weeks post-op, I'm off pain meds and walking three miles a day with no discomfort or leg-dragging. They have changed my life. I am grateful.
