In short, Dr. Miller misdiagnosed me. I had little to no voice for 15 months, and he continued telling me that I was misusing my voice. He referred me for two different kinds of speech therapy. I ended up finding a laryngologist in San Antonio who was able to correctly diagnose me. I had amyloidosis, and needed vocal cord surgery.
