Dr. McGee is an excellent surgeon. He is personable, caring and extremely understanding and knowledgeable. He made me very comfortable before and after surgery responding to all of my questions. Definitely encourages patient participation in their medical treatment. I highly recommend Dr McGee and my entire family agrees. He is exceptional and I’d see him again if the need arose.

I think he's skilled in overall competency with regard to diagnosis and surgical skills. However, if it's important to you to be a participant in your own care, he's not the right physician to go to. Had to seek other physicians to help communicate concerns and/or goals of treatment in order for him to accommodate. Argumentative and rude to the point where another medical professional complained. He made an unpleasant experience unnecessarily more unpleasant. Hope he reconsiders his philosophy

Dr. McGee is a great doctor; he has a wonderful bedside manner, and he put me at ease through a difficult situation. Most important, he is a skilled doctor and care provider. I highly recommend Dr. McGee to patients seeking care.

Three major abdominal surgeries with many bumps in the road due to my body. Dr. McGee Took extremely good care of me and delt well with my husbands concerns. Treated peristoma Pyoderma (which is rare...happens to 1/100,000 patients) like a pro. Would definitely Recommend him to anyone. Very professional and great at what he does.

Was unable to diagnose an issue I was experiencing which was causing me great distress and pain. Went to another doctor a year later who recommended surgery and have been much better since.
