BEWARE! What should have been a simple arthroscopy has turned into a life changing event. Maloney damaged the nerve in my leg and I have no feeling from the knee down. This is just an aside based upon the larger picture. 6 months later I have a limp and can not flex or extend my leg. Right after surgery I knew something was very wrong and my symptoms were not properly addressed. A 22 year old intern was the only one who saw me for nearly a month. Stay away!!

Dr. Maloney replaced my ACL in my left knee 12 years ago when I was 45 years old . My ACL snapped in half in a skiing accident . I never had any knee issues or pain before this accident . My left knee that was operated on is even stronger than my right knee. Dr. Maloney said he cleaned out some existing knee arthritis when he was operating . My knee still feels perfect . I will say ghT I did the physical therapy religiously and riding an excetcize bike daily was also key .
