Dr Leighton in my opinion was Too busy social climbing to treat patients when I met with him. His nurse was the best. The complete opposite of him. Rude, demeaning and arrogant!

As a retired RN I tend to evaluate my doctors with a more than critical eye. When I was told I needed a Right Total Hip Replacement, I consulted several surgical nurses at a local medical center. They unanimously recommended Dr Leighton as a caring individual and as a very competent surgeon. Personally, I found both statements to be true. Tomorrow will mark one month since my surgery. The staples are out, my incision is free from infection, and I am able to walk without an assistive device.

This was my first visit and it went well. Office was nice and the girls very pleasant. I Thought I found a great doctor that I would be pleased to recommend. I had an MRI. The doctor said he would call me. It's been a week and have not received a call from anyone regarding my results. After numerous calls and trying to speak with someone I have given up. My next step and my only option at this point is to go in person and see if I can get any answers. Terrible service I would say!!

Overall, I had a positive experience with Dr. Leighton and the office team. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Leighton took the time to discuss my issue and provide guidance. He was friendly and thorough and I didn't feel like he was rushing to get to another appointment. My only less than positive experience from scheduling the appointment to checking out was his Nurse Practitioner. She didn't appear to read information I took the time to prepare and appeared rushed.

Came in and scheduled an ACL reconstruction, everything went smoothly and my surgery was scheduled. Then 1 week before it was supposed to happen, I received a call telling me that they had not scheduled the surgery and that now there was no room at the hospital. I was right there when they called and scheduled it the first time, either they called back and changed it without notifying me or they were so poorly orginazed that they forgot about my appointment and were trying to blame someone else

After many attempts to reach his office I gave up. The office is poorly run. Wait times exceed the norm and then the call goes to a machine as no one picks up. It has been weeks and still can't reach a live person at the office.

Over the last three years, Dr Leighton successfully replaced both my hips. He and his staff are excellent and professional in every way. I can go on, but here is the bottom line: I am 73 years old and last week I went skiing in Colorado for a week. My hips worked just fine with no issues. Yes, skiing with bionic hips!!!!!! Richard
