I had fractured my ulna (elbow) and required a plate and pins back in 2013. Dr Lauffenburger cared for me during the entire year and eventually was able to remover the plate/pins. I am now back to see him for a fracture of the left wrist. Even unto this day he still checks on my previous status. He shows great concern and patience each time I see him. I would never consider entrusting my care to anyone else. He is an outstanding physician.

I had surgery on my knee done by Dr. Lauffenburger in 2016 and he did a great job and is not only a great surgeon , but has a wonderful bedside manner. Recently went to have my other knee and hip evaluation after a couple of months of on and off problems. Nothing needed to be done , but he said it was good to have a baseline. He also said if things got any worse to call and ask for an MRI. Another doctor probably would not have been as kind and just said they saw nothing that needed attention.

Make sure to get a second opinion. Superficial evaluation , poor explanation, outdated treatment with focus on surgery. Wait times for appointments up to an hour. Does not seem to know what to do. Not recommended.
