At Summit Family Health, we believe patients are not just a number and strive to provide the same care we would want our own family members to receive. We work hard to provide the most up-to-date medical treatment in an environment where patients feel heard and respected. We look forward to working with you to achieve the best possible health for you and your family.
Michael Kaylor graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine in 2003. He completed a Family Medicine Residency at Central Maine Medical Center and then returned to his hometown of Boise in 2006. He joined with St Lukes Family Health and spent the next 10 years enjoying some wonderful relationships with staff and patients. In 2017, he and Drs Pellant and Loveland decided to embark on a new adventure by returning to private practice. He values long term relationships with his patients where they feel they are treated like family. He practices the full scope of family medicine caring for newborn babies to the elderly and everybody in between. In addition to being board certified in Family Medicine, he is also board certified in Addiction Medicine. He is currently the medical director of Raise the Bottom, an opiate treatment center here in Boise. When not practicing medicine he is happily knee deep in kids. His wife and he have the joy of raising 8 pretty amazing kids and two pretty annoying dogs. Although busy, he manages to sneak away occasionally to raft some rivers, wreck on his mountain bike now and again and attempt to hunt or fish but usually comes home empty handed.
