I have new insurance and had to locate a new PCP. I researched Dr Michael Hugar and everything I saw was correct! He is a wonderful and thorough doctor. I would definitely recommend him. It's clear I will be very happy as his patient.

Dr. Hugar is my idea of what a doctor should be. Whatever metric you might use, he is at the top. He listens, he explains things well, he is knowledgeable, and he cares about his patients. He has been my doctor for many years, and I moved with him when he changed his practice from Oak Park to Elmhurst.
I think he covers all the bases to keep me healthy. I would give him the highest recommendation. He is a well informed and humane doctor.

His understanding about many medical issues are very evident and what I like most is that he listens. Some doctors hear but don't listen to their patients. Dr Hugar listens.

My husband & I have been pts. for over 20yrs. He was quick to diagnose my husbands diabetis 13yrs. ago & close monitoring has kept it well controlled. 2019 preoperative testing revealed abnormalities that Dr. Hugar promptly addressed & stage 1 cancer was discovered. I was referred to excellant specialists. Dr. Hugar is professional & sincerely empathetic. We highly recommend him.

I started seeing Dr. Hugar at the Elmhurst Clinic about a year ago. He is a fantastic doctor, 4 of our family members see him know. He takes his time, answers all your questions. He also is quick at getting back to you with your test results.

Dr. Hugar is the best primary doctor I have ever seen for over 10 years. Dr Hugar is very pleasant and have great bedside manners. I was like so many people who dread going to see a doctor but over 10 years ago my wife suggested that I go see Dr. Hugar and now I never want to see any other MD.
