Wonderful Experience
Dr. Michael House quickly diagnosed my shoulder pain as impingement. I received an injection of cortisol and a referral for physical therapy to correct the problem that caused my pain. Everyone at Ortho Texas Denton were kind and very professional.

He has replaced both my knees and scoped my right shoulder. Following both knees I was driving in five days and fling in eleven. I would allow him to perform orthopedic procedures on me without question.

12 weeks post op on my shoulder and could not have been happier with Dr House and his nurse! He was very thorough in explaining exactly what he was going to do and what to expect post op. I read a review that said he did not see that patient after their surgery, but he came by and saw me which is standard with surgeons.

Everything went smoothly, from the initial call making the appointment to leaving the office after that appointment! Everyone was very professional & fun.. who can say that at most doctor appointments! Dr. House made a plan for us that was less intrusive to start through a possible surgery. Explained everything so that we understood.. the first time through!

Dr. House is a very professional and skilled doctor. I had a total knee replacement of my right knee in 2009. I was up and walking the next day, and Dr. House ordered home care for me until I was able to go to physical therapy. It is now 2019 and I haven't had any problems with the replacement. I plan on going back to him soon for total replacement of left knee. The staff has always been professional and helpful. I highly recommend him.

Dr House is great but unfortunately you have to deal with the lack of communication with the office staff. So sad that this is a issue on a well established business.

My NP referred me to Dr. House. He may have missed something as after following his directions to walk on it and see pain specialist I further injured myself and can no longer put any pressure of any kind on my foot. The office staff was great, I talked with them each day for 3 days in a row, before a message was relayed from him for me to see a specific specialist, who can't see me for 13 days. Back to NP, waiting on X-Rays and possible other tests, outcome unknown.

If all you want is to part of a surgery factory he is fine. If you are looking for any kind of a personal touch, forget it. I mostly saw his PA. I paid which is fine for preop sand follow up. He never once came to see me after the surgery. Never discussed how the surgery went, even though I was getting light headed, dizzy, nautilus, and vomiting, and my blood pressure was running 80-80 over 50-60. I was very comfortable in the hospital. Sent home with Tylenol #3 I am not a drug seeke

I used to see a different doctor for an old shoulder injury but started seeing House after he retired. Dr. House is a nice man but his office is a complete nightmare to deal with. If you need to get back to work after an injury or just get paperwork filled out to straighten out a leave with your work, don't come here. They just put you off and everything takes months to get done. My most recent appointment took a month to get in and then he just sent me off somewhere else to get an MRI.

Our Family loves Dr. House! Our oldest two kids are very involved in sports (football, basketball) and other physical activities (dirt bikes, horseback riding, Crossfit) and just being kids (riding bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc). He is a wonderful doctor that spends quality time with each of his patients. He answers all of this Mom's concerns and questions. He also has a great sense of humor!
