Migraine Management
I love Dr. Guo! I've suffered from chronic migraines for the past six years, and have been through multiple neurologists and treatments with no success. Since beginning acupuncture with Dr. Guo, I have actually been able to manage my migraines for the first time. He is a kind and knowledgable doctor, and making appointments is always convenient and easy. I would highly recommend him.

Wow! I never write reviews but I have to considering how badly my situation could have turned out. I went to see Dr. Guo after I was having bad headaches. He would not listen to my concerns even after pointing out the bumps on my face. Instead, he decided on random tests to give me- which involved me at his office for 3 hours. I was in so much pain that I told him I might be visiting the ER after leaving his office. He laughed in my face and told me it wasn’t an emergency! Fast forward 24 hours and I’m at the ER. The doctor there took one look at my face and told me I had shingles! I was immediately put on an antibiotic and given pain medication. I’m afraid to think about what could have happened had I listened to Dr. Guo! He does not take your concerns seriously and instead pushes random tests- probably just so he can get paid for them. Please think twice before you see this “doctor.” I am really lucky that I listened to my gut and not him!

Dr Guo has been giving me injections for my pain. When I go I leave with immediate relief as a survivor of throat cancer and radiation - chemo injections he has given me a better quality of life. I can't really find words to describe how wonderful that is to me, If your in pain - neck / back -go see him then you'll understand what I mean. What do you have to lose.. Except pain...

I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in September, 2018 and was treated with radiation and chemotherapy. I developed severe neuropathy in my legs and feet and in addition, drop foot in my right leg. I went to 3 different neurologists before seeing Dr. Gau in March, 2019. After comprehensive blood work and additional EMG testing I was administered steroids to treat the inflammation and pain. My pain has been reduced at least 90% and I can function normally. I still have drop foot but we can see improvement in the motion and muscle function. I was so fortunate to meet Dr. Gau and his understanding and treatments has greatly made me feel like a normal person. My drop foot recovery is a slow process but I feel hopeful with Dr. Gau's understanding and treatment that its function will come back.

I agree with the other negative reviews. Lots of expensive tests ordered without telling you which ones are and aren't covered by insurance. I was told everybody has chronic pain, and felt worse after 2 acupuncture treatments when I walked out. Not because of the acupuncture but because of the uncomfortable position I had to lie in for 45 minutes. Before and After pictures of cosmetic botox in every exam room should have warned me about what this doctor seems to care about: money.

After waiting close to 90 minutes, Dr. Guo does not even perform a physical exam, reviews the MRI results and recommends his place for accupuncture. Place is a mill, not interested in medicine, only billing.
