Dr. Gottschalk was extremely detailed on problem, diagnosis, recommendations and surgical procedures. I asked a lot of questions and he spent plenty of time with me to answer them all. His PA was also very helpful.

Dr. Gottschalk put me at ease immediately. He is obviously a kind and caring doctor. He removed a ganglion cyst from my right wrist, and I had nearly full range of motion within 2 weeks (December, 2018). I doubt that's typical, but it was a lot faster than my experience (with another doctor) years ago with a ganglion removed from my left wrist! Everything about my experience was 5 stars: all the staff and Dr. Gottschalk. Thank you!

I feel extremely lucky to have had Dr. Gottschalk for my shoulder surgery after my biking accident. My injury was pretty significant (worst one I've endured in life so far, and I've had a few), but from the day I met him and his staff I knew I was in good hands. I couldn't be happier with the outcome of my shoulder. Every visit pre and post op was caring, informative, efficient and professional. Turns out, I coincidentally have doctor friends that know Dr. Gottschalk as well, and he is highly respected throughout the medical field. He's awesome, I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Gottschalk came highly recommended and after a full shoulder replacement I also highly recommend him. He was professional, positive, encouraging and put me to complete ease about the procedure and the outcome. I am 6 months out now and am very happy I did the replacement and very happy Dr. Gottschalk was my surgeon. I am almost pain free and have full range of motion. I may be the exception, but the entire procedure, recovery and rehabilitation was completely pain free. There was some dis

Dr. Gottschalk changed my life by replying my left shoulder. I had almost no use of it after severely injuring it. I have nearly 100% range of motion after surgery and physical therapy.

Dr. Gottschalk treated me with surgery for DeQuervain’s Syndrome of my right hand. I’d tried to alleviate with 3 corticosteroid injections, which each lasted around 1 year with full pain reduction. I finally had the surgery with Dr. Gottschalk. I’m a clinical researcher, so I knew the standard of care recommendations for this procedure, and Dr. Gottschalk was up to date with these. 4 months post op, and I’m 100% pain free with full use returned to my hand.

I was referred to Dr. Gottschalk for an unidentifiable growth on the first digit of my index finger; no ultrasound or MRI gave any indication of exactly what was causing the growth. After an initial consult we decided to remove it surgically. The surgery went without incident and I was treated exceptionally through every step of the process, from consult to 6th week follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Gottschalk and would not hesitate to visit him for future procedures.

Wow what a great surgeon! Had a shattered finger, several Dr. told me they couldn’t help as it was so bad. When we met he had several Surgery options and explained them all and provided examples of each. I had so mush trust in him I opted for his decision once he was able able to get into the break. I never thought I would have the same utilization of the finger and I am close to 90% and expect 100% following his advice. Would recommend Dr. G to anyone!

Dr. Gottschalk is clear, explains everything, concerned, and an expert in his field. I had a reverse shoulder replacement and, hard to believe, I had NO pain. Not being able to use my dominant arm was difficult and frustrating, but after two weeks I was able to start doing things with that arm, and each week I could do more. Recovery has been smoother than I evr imagined.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Gottschalk to everyone! I had a complicated scaphoid fracture, and he was always realistic with me in the likelihood of it healing properly, which was much lower than I anticipated (at 30-40% chance). He took time and consideration and spoke with other surgeons in terms of what treatment plan would give me the best odds of healing. That turned out to be surgery and a cast for 3 months. Now, 5.5 months after the diagnosis, I am so thankful to be FULLY healed!
