Dr Gerhardt was very personable, calming, took time to answer any questions I had and did a remarkable job on my knee replacement. The scar was quite small and many nurses in the hospital commented on it saying he was known for that. I have no complaints about his excellent care. His office staff were warm and easy to contact and work with.

Dr. Gerhardt changed my life. I had had long term knee pain and had been losing mobility. He was very professional and explained my options thoroughly to me. I never felt pressured and was happy that his approach was conservatively minded. I did end up going through with knee surgery on both knees. The surgery went as planned, the post care and followup was thorough and I never doubted I was in good hands. 6 months later I feel like a new person and don't wince every time I look at a staircase.

Worst experience with a doctor I've ever had. Terrible bedside manner and inept medical care. Would not recommend him to my worst enemy!

Very nice and courteous before surgery. Had complications with surgery and spent 8 days in hospital. Very unprofessional once he couldn't figure out what to do. Another Dr took over my care in hospital. First follow up visit went ok but the second was a nightmare. Decided to change to another surgeon who explained my situation clearly. Will not return to Gerhart.
