He also enjoys participating in shotgun sports and watches hockey, college football and sports car racing. He is proud to be a part of the Denver community helping to take care of Colorado's active population."

Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Gallizzi "Dr. Michael Gallizzi is a Duke University fellowship trained minimally invasive adult spine surgeon.  He uses minimally-invasive, state-of-the-art, techniques to minimize the size of the surgical incision and damage to surrounding muscle thereby accelerating the recovery process. These techniques can be used to treat a number of conditions such as disc herniations, degenerative scoliosis, as well as cervical and lumbar degenerative arthritis. Dr. Gallizzi routinely performs neck and lower back surgeries including revision of previous surgeries to help patients achieve pain relief and improve function even when other surgeons say there is nothing more that's can be done.  Dr. Gallizzi is actively involved in clinical as well as biomechanical research developing new surgical techniques to improve the outcomes of his patients."
