Dr Dempewolf explained everything to me in a way that I was able to understand, without feeling like an idiot :-)
I am much happier about trying a noninvasive approach verses needles and knives !

Dr Dempewolf is one of the easiest doctors to relate to as he is understanding, patient and allows you all the time to ask questions which he gives answers in a professional and respective way in regards to your specific issue. I would highly recommend him and his staff as they work to get you seen in a very timely manner. I have seen many other orthopedic surgeons as I have dealt with a dual bipatella tendon repair and the after affects for the last 15 years and Dr Dempewolf is the first doctor that I feel completely comfortable with after my office visits because he never seems to be in a hurry and he genuinely wants to help resolve my issues

Saw Dr Dempewolf for my daughters broken pinkie. He was straight forward and truthful about pros and cons with and without surgery. He answered all my questions and I feel super confident about the treatment she will receive from him in the coming weeks!

Yes I would refer Dr. Dempewolf to family and friends. In fact have already done so. Visit was exactly what I was needing and looking for. I as well as another family member have seen him before for different injuries and surgeries and our family considers him our “go to” guy! Won’t go to anybody else.

I am a medical case manager and have the pleasure of working with Dr. Dempewolf frequently. He provides thorough assessments, prompt responses and sets appropriate treatment plans with realistic goals and time frames. Not only does he have excellent outcomes, but has a wonderful bedside manner.
I trust him to take care of my friends and family as well and have referred many family members and close friends to him.

Dr. Dempewolf is so easy to communicate with. He is not rushed and takes time to thoroughly explain your condition as well as options for treating it. Not only is he knowledgeable but he is also personable. I left the appointment feeling encouraged that I had finally found someone who was going to get me back to enjoying life. His NP, Megan and nurse Nicole were also very professional and friendly.

Seemed nice initially, he examined me and said I could benefit from therapy on both of my hands but only sent the referral for one. Therapy didn't help. I think I'm worse now than when I began therapy. Lost trust in this doctor and staff. Not helpful or caring whatsoever.

Dr. Dempewolf performed surgery for my torn hip tendon. I could not be more pleased with his work as well as the entire team at Mid-America Orthopedics. He is very patient focused as demonstrated in taking time to explain medical concepts and listen to concerns. I would be pleased to communicate with anyone who is considering Dr. Dempewolf. Dr. Dempewolf repaired a serious, four-part break in my upper arm after I fell off my bicycle. The surgery was very successful and my healing and recovery has exceeded all expectations, without a glitch. The scar is minimal, too! Visits to his office at Mid-America Orthopedics both before and after surgery were unlike any medical office I've every visited. The atmosphere is very inviting, attractive, clean (new!) and my wait time never exceeded 5 minutes. I was in and out in a flash.

My 6 yr old son broke his arm requiring surgery. We had to wait over the weekend to see someone. Luckily I knew someone who works for Mid America Ortho in Wichita, and she specifically gave me Dr. Dempewolf's name. I called them Monday and they got us in that afternoon. Other Dr's couldn't get us in timely. Dr. Dempewolf explained everything thoroughly and was patient with all the questions and got my son in surgery the next day! Great experience and highly recommend!

He's wonderful. I honestly could not recommend him enough if you have any kind of joint or muscular problems. I love the fact that during my appointments he gives me options for recovery. I get to help decide where we go from here. He has been very gentle with my knee (to the extent he can be) and his staff is professional and compassionate. He remembers his patients and he explains things in very simple terms so you can understand. I was very lucky to be recommended to him.
