Dr. Del Rio is a caring and experience surgeon. He did surgery on me. Before my surgery he explained everything he was going to.. it was a 4 hour surgery. He came to see me as soon as I woke up from recovery and also was there first thing in the morning the next day checking up on me. Surgery came out as planned and you can't even see my scar on my chest. I recommend Dr. Del Rio.

He was AMAZING! Totally in command and in control of the situation. I am alive today because of this man. Don't expect a lot of hand holding and cuddles, just expect A GREAT surgeon.

Dr. Del Rio performed double bypass on my 67-year-old female heart in June, 2016. Dr. Del Rio is the most truly dedicated physician I have ever met. Doctor is direct and to-the-point, but his manner is nothing but caring and willingness to do whatever it takes to make his patients well. Dr. Del Rio truly saved my life in more ways than performing surgery. He is the only doctor, of any specialty, who I know would answer his cell phone for a patient. No words can ever thank him enough.

Dr. Del Rio delivered a high level of care to my mom during her stay at RCC. He is very matter of fact of what the situation is and what the solution is. She had a double bypass and aortic dissection repaired and his competence was a comfort to our family. He is not a sugar coat it type of surgeon, however, we were looking for a successful outcome, not a case of superficial warm and fuzzies. Thank you Dr. Del Rio!!

it was very upsetting how a doctor of his profession acted towards us when my mom went in for open heart surgery, this was a very stressful procedure for my mom the dr. del rio attitude and arrogance i was shocked at the mistake he caused during surgery, he should of been more careful in placing the chest tube, but he wasn't and caused a puncture in my moms right ventrical causing my mom to loose alot of blood, which she never recovered from. his bed side manner was horrible with the family,
