I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2002 and chose to have a radical prostatectomy. Five years later my cancer returned and I was treated with radiation. 2-1/2 years later I had a rising PSA indicating my cancer was again active.I was now dealing with recurring prostate cancer. Several doctors told me there was nothing else they could do for me except place me on deprivation therapy which I did not choose to do. I was now in search of a doctor that could do MORE for me and that’s when I found Dr.Michael Dattoli in Sarasota Fl. I first talked to Dr. Dattoli in November of 2011 after which he ordered tests on me at an imaging center in Orlando,Fl. The results showed my cancer traveling in my lymph node system and he wasted no time beginning my radiation treatments at his cancer center in Sarasota. His precision treatments finally killed my cancer. Finding the right doctor for the right outcome is KEY. If you’re looking for that right doctor I highly recommend Dr.Dattoli.

I went to Dr Dattoli after going to Moffitt. they did not get all of the cancer with surgery. I went to Dr Dattoli and found out I was stage 4. Dr. Dattoli said I had 18 months if I didn't do anything. I went thru 10 weeks of radiation. Today is 5 years and I am cancer free. I signed the wall.

I just returned to New York from Sarasota, Florida and was given a clean bill of health! Dr. Dattoli is the best. His credentials are unrivaled in Oncology. I am so happy I chose him after extensive research. Other treatment options for prostate cancer are scary! I have zero PSA and zero side effects!

While in my 50’s , Urologists recommended surgery. Cutting in the region of my genitals wasn’t appealing and 2 friends who did robot surgery had long recoveries and one is still leaking urine while the other had cancer return within 2 years. So I searched for non surgical options and Dr. Dattoli came highly recommended. He is even held in highest esteem at places like Harvard and Sloan Kettering. 7 years later I have no regrets. Aside from less semen, everything works like before. PSA is zero!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr Dattoli and his well assembled team. I was comforted when I encountered other men in their 40's at Dattoli who had been treated and were free of the cancers for a very long time (5-20 years!). Many had far more aggressive cancers than myself. Quality of life is fortunately another aspect of treatment that Dr Dattoli holds in high regard and true to form I went unscathed through the entire treatment process and beyond.

So glad we found Dr. Dattoli!!! At age 48 my husband was devastated being diagnosed as having prostate cancer, and an agressive one at that! We would have traveled any where in the world to be treated. Fortunately we found Dr. Dattoli in Florida. What a Godsend! Well, that was 7 years ago and my husband is completely free with a zero PSA. He has no side effects as if he never had prostate cancer. We just returned from Sarasota with a clean bill of health.

I was treated by Dr. Dattoli back in 2001 when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. My urologist was ready to perform surgery and truthfully I was scared after hearing the pitfalls with surgery. After meeting with Dr. Dattoli I was convinced that seeding was the way to go. I am now thankfully 16 years later and my PSA is 0.008 and all of my bodily functions are working perfectly at age 74. I can not begin to praise both the Doctor and his amazing staff that treats me like a king!

I searched the globe to find him. He pioneered brachytherapy and now DART external radiation, so precise that it can hit a dot (mm3) while moving! There is no rival anywhere in the World. I looked into Protons which are less precise than Dattoli's and unable to "hyperdose" select cancerous lesions with both DART and then Palladium seeding. I had an aggressive cancer and surgery would leave cells behind and I'd need radiation anyway=more complications! 3.5 years and my PSA is <0.01, no hormones.

Dr. Dattoli and his entire staff are exceptional when it comes to patient experience! I felt right at home, well informed, and truly heard throughout every step of my prostate cancer treatment and cure. Sure, there may be a lot of steps and time to dedicate, but these people are here day in and day out helping 30+ other people in the exact same situation. Dr. Dattoli is an amazing man that is dedicated to his work. I cannot thank him enough!

Dr Dattoli has taken high tech to a new level and this is a function of his high level of intelligence as he himself, along with some brilliant physicists developed many of today's cutting edge technologies. He is unparallelled in his approach to treating prostate ca. You cannot find this level of technologies AND experience anywhere else including the largest Universities. I traveled over 2000 mi and I'm forever grateful being rid of a bad cancer while enjoying completely normal body function.

Dr. Dattoli was thorough and pleasant. I subsequently had an awful experience with the billing office. They charged me $610 for the use of the room for an office visit. This was in addition to the few hundred I paid the physician. My insurance would not cover it and Moffitt is going after me for the entire amount with not even a consideration of a discount for self-pay. This is a despicable way to treat a cancer patient!

Living in Europe and having prostate cancer is not a good especially when you're in your early 50's. After exhaustive research I found Dr Michael Dattoli to be brilliant, compassionate and his Cancer Center to be light years ahead of other World Class Centers.Just returned from Sarasota and given my 5 year clean bill of health which is a far cry what others at other Centers world-wide had expected as I had a aggressive cancer. No bowel/bladdersymptoms or sexual dysfunction. Bravo Dattoli!

My case was challenging. I'm from Utah and it was heartening to meet so many others from around the globe who weren't given a chance, only to be telling their stories 10-20 yrs later. Dr Dattoli is a genius. When I met with him, he spent 120 minutes listening intensely and never even checked his watch! That's rare esp from a famous doctor. His technology is unrivaled, the facility beautiful and inviting. His staff is remarkably smart and so pleasant. Sarasota is a gem and for healing.
