He asked precisely where my pain was and what aggravated it. While I am sure he had his thoughts, he considered my input. He is professional and thorough. I was very pleased.

Had a horrible experience with Dr. Clare. After telling me the surgery that I had on my right foot was not "necessary" for my left, I opted for a lesser surgery to offset future pain. While still recovering from said surgery, a mere 4-5 weeks later, he told me I would need the surgery that I had on my right foot. When I spoke to AnnMarie and I explained the situation and wanted to try and work out the financial aspect of it, she accused me of trying to commit insurance fraud. Do yourself a favor, steer clear!!!

After seeing 5 Orthopedic Doctors four wanted to amputate my right leg below the knee. The other Orthopedic Doctor, World Renowned from Orlando didn't want to help me at all. Dr. Clare consulted with me, explained his procedure and suggestion for me saving my leg. He and his staff treated us with respect and answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. Six weeks after the surgery I was up and walking on my own leg. I cannot thank Dr. Clare and Florida Orthopedic Institute enough.

Dr. Clare is the best foot and ankle surgeon I have ever come across of. He is committed to getting you better, very personable, and always goes the extra mile to get you better. He was the only one who could figure out what was wrong with my ankle and did a major surgery and got me back to playing soccer 100%. And then fixed my toe. He has been nothing but helpful and I wouldnt go see anyone else but him.

I went to Dr Clare after my third tassel tunnel release surgery. There was a "pea sized" thing near the incision site, which Dr. Clare said wasn't really there. However, after subsequent visits, each time being told nothing there, then told me that it was so close to the artery he might nick it. Sent me to vascular dr who said not close to artery would do surgery with him. Clare said not there. Now size of grape! Cannot do surgery ALL veins engorged with blood and I could bleed out per new doc!!

worst Dr. and assistant ever. DO NOT USE. contact me with any questions. dr. Clare reconstructed both my heels. never once check up on me at hospital, had major complications and infection and could not even even get him or his worthless assistant Ann Marie to call me back. instead of sending me to a wound specialist referred me in house PT which caused additional infection have had to have heel removed, hardware out; charged me additional $3000. CHANGED DDR. & NOW HOPING TO KEEP MY FOOT.
