Dr. Cicchotti did my ACL reconstruction. I had a complication (cyclops lesion) that he did not diagnose, despite my repeated complaints during my many follow up visits with him over a 1 year period. He did not listen to me, belittled me and told me that my pain and problems were "all in my head". By the time I finally found another physician to help me, my legs were so weak that both patellas mistracked and I had to wear braces. I ended up getting a second surgery at Penn to remove the cyclops.

This dr has poor bedside manner. I was referred to him and he was very cold. Not warm and welcoming in anyway. He threw statistics at me as if that was reassuring. When I left his office I did not feel comforted to know that my surgery was in good hands and the Dr actually cared about me. I ended up scheduling my surgery with someone who was kind to me and showed some empathy.

This is my second child with an ACL repair, and our second surgery with Dr. Ciccotti. As the father of some advanced athletes, I feel very lucky to have been referred to him. His hands are touched by God.

On September 12, 2017 I had a complete knee replacement of my left knee. On January 12 I had a complete knee replacement of my right knee. Although you must work hard in PT, walk and exercise. I have found that exercising in the pool has helped tremendously. Although there is soreness on occasions usually when the weather is damp there is no pain. Dr. Ciccotti has a marvelous bedside manner and did an incredible job. I talk him up every chance I get. Hal Gold 6/7/18

Dr. Ciccotti and his associate listened carefully to me. They carefully explained my MRI results, and indicated that surgery was not necessary. They both indicated the procedures to be taken to resolve my condition. I felt comfortable and not rushed. I trust their judgement and would definitely recommend Dr. Ciccotti.

I found Dr. Ciccotti very thorough and thoughtful. I appreciated the detailed information about my situation and the options, and was glad to hear that surgery was not the first line of intervention, although I did do a minor procedure in the end. He is kind as professional as are his team. I had a great experience overall and am so glad I dealt with it with a very satisfactory outcome.

Dr Ciccotti has a wonderful bedside manner and spends plenty of time to explain the surgery and recovery. Had successful ACL reconstruction 20 years ago with Dr Ciccotti and chose him again for my other knee injury. He is the best!

Dr. Ciccotti is the best of the best. A rare physician that is both high skilled AND a fantastic, kind person with really great bedside manner. I feel very fortunate to have had Dr. Ciccotti perform my ACL surgery. My questions were always thoughtfully answered, he was always patient and kind and the work he did on my knee was exceptional. Couldn't have asked for anything more from him or the Rothman Institute.
