Dr. Cannon has got to be the least caring and rudest “doctors” I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet. We actually went to the huge inconvenience of changing oncologists at the very end of my husband’s life because Dr Cannon was so completely inept and couldn’t have cared less. And his nurse was even worse.

Was sent to Dr. Cannon last year for DVT and he was not great but not really bad either. I was back for more problems with my DVT and he seems to be put out seeing me. Spent very little time with me and cut me off when I was explaining the problem. Thought maybe he had a cancer patient he needed to see and that maybe he didn't care much to treat a patient with DVT. After reading recent reviews it seems he is this way with all patients. Seems to be too busy to give proper care to patients. I am going to change to another doctor.

If you want your loved one to have good care, keep looking, cuz Michael Cannon isn’t going to provide it. He’s too worried about his boat to care about the dying people he is supposed to be helping.

Terrible bedside manner. Father in law began to decline and we needed dr cannon to approve home hospice care. He was unavailable and his relief refused to approve it. Several days later we were admitted to the hospital as we transitioned to inpatient hospice care. Our amazing nephrologist handles this and we never heard or saw dr cannon. Not sure if the standard of care for prophylactic brain radiation but he refused to consider it when the cancer had spread to the bones.

Both Dr. Cannon and the Cancer Center gave my family member terrible care. The doctor only looked at his computer and never my sister, was uninvolved and disinterested in her. The office was unresponsive, often you have to call up to 12 times to get through the office. It was impersonal. When pain meds were needed, they refused to give them. My sister was hoping for care that actually cared about her, instead of feeling like a cog in a piece of cancer machinery.

Dr. Cannon was wonderful throughout my treatment for APL, he knew exactly what was wrong from the moment he saw me in the ICU at Wesley, and was my doctor throughout my treatment. He was wonderful about explaining things to me, making sure i was comfortable through the entire time, and was just the best doctor i could ever have asked for. He saved my life and i simply cannot say enough nice things! I am now in my 6th year cancer free thanks to his wonderful care!
