This guy should not be a doctor. He is rude and condescending. Didnt even make mention of a remote apology for the 45 plus wait. No bedside manner, in a hurry to rudely explain things. Just a bad experience. Second one I’ve had with him so I won’t be going back. Surely there are better doctors out there that have a personality that accommodates seeing patients. He was very rude. The equipment gal provided better and more comprehensive advice than he did.

I was very impressed with the friendly professionalism of Dr Brown’s office staff. Dr Brown then listened to my chief complaints, my concerns with regard to an unsuccessful treatment plan thus far offered by another orthopedic provider, and then he concisely offered a treatment plan with his rational explained well. I particularly like that Dr Brown’s expertise is with specifically a foot and ankle focus. Finally, his technician who fitted me for my ankle/foot brace was very thorough, courteous, and knowledgeable. Overall I experienced a very positive and pleasing experience for my initial visit.

Thorough exam with explanation and options. No wait time in the lobby, to get the ex-rays, view the results with the doctor, and select from possible plans of action. Great office visit experience and delightful support staff.

Dr Brown is not a “warm, fuzzy” sort of person. But, more important to me, he is very direct and to the point. I appreciate his openness and matter of fact expressions. He told me exactly what to expect before, during, and after my surgery on my foot. I’m two weeks post-op and everything has been exactly how gecsaid it would be.

Dr Brown was the surgeon on call when I had my hip injury which required emergency surgery. As far the surgery, it was repaired with little discomfort afterwards for me. At the time I was not given a choice on surgeons- And I learned afterwards he is an ankle specialist. To date, the repair seems solid and 100% recovery is anticipated.

I should have read these reviews before I went to see this doctor. He was condescending and rude. He was dismissive of my injury and made me feel like I was wasting his time. I did not need surgery and was prescribed a boot and physical therapy. I learned more from the physical therapist than from him.

I've seen Dr. Brown 3 times. The first time was for plantar fasciitis in my right foot, which had been bothering me for a long time. He recommended I wear a boot, which keeps the right foot flexed while sleeping, and discontinue prolonged walking exercises for 2 weeks. That did the trick. He's all business when seeing a patient, which I suspect is why some of the other reviews are negative. But to me competence is more important than exceptional warmth from a doctor.

He informed me that the recommended surgery is done because of pain and not aesthetics. This was said after it was explained to him the pain was effecting my quality of life. I left feeling like I have never felt before going to a physician. I do not go often. Only when absolutely needed and I would not have wasted his time or mine if I was not interested in corrective surgery. I certainly hope his scribe transcribed verbatim the conversation for review by the office administrator.

I saw Dr. Brown after a car accident 6 years ago. From what I read here anyone has yet to burst his bubble of godhood. I waited the requisite hour to be met by a young man ill equipped to treat human beings. In fact, during the 15 mins I spent with Dr. Brown he refused to do a tactile exam of my foot because the gauze and tape were wet due to the rain storm that day. To note: he was very happy to toss a prescription for an opioid at me. And that was all.

Dr. Brown was patient, kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He explained my condition and gave me treatment options. I had read the negative reviews about his demeanor and am glad I scheduled an appointment anyway as I found him to be a pleasant, kind man and an excellent physician.
