Nurse staff is friendly. I LOVE their scheduling, they have early walk in hours and scheduling a same day appointment has never been a problem. I visit the Richmond or Sugar Land locations and since they have digital medical records I've never had a problem. I bring all four of my children for flu shots, vaccinations, sport physicals and the occasional illness. The waiting room is even separated for well and sick patients, which I think is an A+++.

The Best Pediatrician ever! The nurses are excellent. I never wait more than a few moments. I do not have to worry about my children being over medicated with antibiotics..... Dr. Bornstein gets to the root of the illness, so that we know how to treat it and the kids can get back to being kids.
I took my son to Bornstein after he was born. I noticed my son had a flat spot soon after he was born, I mentioned it to Bornstein and another doctor at the pediatric center several times. They both didn't do anything about it. I took him to a different pediatrician when he was 4 months old and she immediately referred my son to get evaluated for a helmet for the flat spot. Wish the pediatricians at the pediatric center would have done something sooner so my son could have been treated sooner.
Good question. Plagiocephaly is very common. Many newborns have this. It is best to wait until 4 months of age to refer for a helmet. Many cases resolve on their own by four months of age. Sometime watchful waiting is better than immediately doing something. The goal isn't to do everything right away as soon as you see it. The goal is to know the natural course of things, decide when it is best to do something vs. waiting for something to resolve on its own, and have a plan.
