Dr. Azzam has made a very positive difference in my life. He repaired several rotator cuff tears in my shoulder, along with a bicep tear. Before the surgery, he explained everything to me and my husband, and answered all of our many questions. He was very patient and spent a lot of time with us to make sure we were comfortable with the plans. I did NOT have any complications / infections from the surgery. During follow up visits, he continued to thoroughly explain what was happening. He was totally focused on me and always looked me in the eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Azzam!!

What can I say about Dr Azzam that hasn't been so well expressed by his many appreciative patients? I can tell you that he always has your well-being and best interests at the forefront of his expert medical plan and treatment. He is a surgeon in whom you may unequivocably place your trust and one I would enthusiastically recommend to my family, friends any anyone seeking a well qualified and very personable physician.

Dr Mike is an exceptional Specialist in the Field of Sports Medicine !!! I am 70 years old and ruptured my Achilles Tendon playing Pickleball recently.. I visited the Kansas City Bone and Joint on a walk-in basis and was examined by Dr Mike....He was very articulate in his examination, and gave me the options on Surgery versus Non-Surgery. We agreed to proceed without the surgery and now 3 months later, I am about 90% and going to physical therapy and expect to be 100%. He makes you feel like a family member and takes his time to explain everything in a Non-Rushed environment. I highly recommend him to anyone needing medical assistance !!!!

I saw Dr Azzam and his staff for both shoulder and knee problems. After several years of pain without a proper diagnosis by other doctors, Dr Azzam was able to treat both of my issues quickly and properly. My interactions with the doctor and the staff have been pleasant and informative. Both in the office and the surgery center, everyone was patient and thoroughly explained what was going on, how the treatments and surgery would happen, and what follow-up would be required, including options for physical therapy and at-home exercises for my recovery.

My son was suffering from nagging hip pain and we though it was due to overuse in sports, wrong conditioning, etc. We were directed to Dr. Azzam after therapy didn't work. SO GRATEFUL! He quickly diagnosed the problem, scans confirmed his diagnoses and he performed the surgery. My son's rehab has gone as expected and he is pain free now. Dr. Azzam's patient and family engagement was stellar. He was patient withquestions, provided great detail about the injury and what it actually looked like in the body, and why there was pain and how it was affecting my son's ability to perform on the field. He explained in detail how he would fix it and what we could expect after the surgery - which has been on target. I would highly recommend Dr. Azzam as a hip specialist. He lived up to our expectations. Diagnosis: Hip impingement/labrum tear

I had a meniscus tear on left knee and surgery Sept 2018 with a different ortho doc and knew that I had to change drs when I had a meniscus tear on my right knee. Dr Azzam's work was wonderful....swelling was minimal, surgery and care after was great and will recommend him to everyone! I believe after the knee completely heals that the knee from Dr. Azzam's surgery will be better than my first surgery. I wish that he had been recommended to me for my left knee...

I "accidentally" found Dr. Azzam in an ER visit after a fall. He ruled out a fracture, then he examined, as he explained what causes the numbness in my two fingers. I became very impressed with Dr. Azzam's skills. He has a character of true caring, honesty, and great listening skills. He ruled out the neck with a MRI, then he ordered an ultrasound of the ulnar nerve to the elbow. There he found the impingement as evidenced by the muscle atrophy between my thumb and index finger. Dr. Azzam is very professional, explained how a surgery would fix it. He listened to my concerns, and did not rush any decisions. He told me the pros of a "cubital tunnel release" and the cons of not doing the surgery. After having the surgery, within 2 weeks, my fingers were already feeling better. He cared about saving money by not ordering physical therapy. He said I could do fine by squeezing a ball or putty to improve my strength. Dr. Azzam is great! I highly recommend Dr. Azzam!! He is awesome!!

Dr. Azzam fixed a torn meniscus on my left knee. The entire process with Dr. Azzam and his staff was exceptional... from diagnosis to full recovery. The professionalism and service focus of Dr. Azzam and his staff was beyond great. I am an old guy and have experienced many doctors and various treatments, this was as good as it gets. Oh, and if your appointment is for 10am... you actually get out of the waiting room at that time!

Surgery and office visits all went very well.... everything was explained very well by the surgeon and staff..... Surgery went well....Office staff did a good job of explaining the pre-surgery deposit that was wanted ....in contrast to the hospital staff who asked for a deposit just prior to the surgery: my mindset and was also told to bring no valuables, yet at check in that morning I was asked about an up front deposit... No one with the hospital said anything about that.. otherwise, the hospital experience was excellent as well.
