Dr. Chaker has poor bedside manner and diagnostic ability. In addition his after hours service during an emergency is horrible. When I called on a weekend when my mother had difficulty breathing, he asked that I call back on Monday morning when he had her records in front of him. He then hung up on me while I was asking questions about when I should call 911. After switching to a new pulmonologist who prescribed appropriate medication, my mother’s lung function increased by 6% in 5 months. My father, a healthy 79 year old, passed away after a week under his care due to a lung infection that was not properly diagnosed.
