Loved Dr. Mora and used her for years. She packs her schedule full and if you are a patient of hers you would not get an emergency appointment - her office staff is rude and think they know it all. Goodbye Dr. Mora it has been real - Before this week Dr. Mora got a 5-5 now she gets a 0-5. To revamp this office she needs new people working there as she is a good Doctor.

I agree with a previous reviewer, "She is a non touch doctor who likes to use tests to replace personal exams and physical touch." She likes to prescribe, but seems uninterested in the root causes of the patient's problem. I stopped going to her, but have not found a new primary care person.

I was warned before going to see her from another patient that call backs are non-existent but I went anyway. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appt for a first time patient. Then when I got there 10 minutes early for my appt, 3 people came in after me and was seen before me because the front desk girl was “still putting my information in the system”. It only took me 5 minutes to do the paperwork. After an hour and 15 minutes I was finally seen. Be prepared the girl at intake (young with glasses) is not nice, she is passive aggressive. Staff besides the front desk however seem to be really great especially the young man who took my blood and the nurse. Dr. Mora seems to be a very down to earth, common sense type of dr. She listened very well to all of my concerns and I am now in the process of getting various tests. Not sure I will see her again though, as they booked me with a nurse for my follow up appt.. Not cool, I could’ve seen her but I’d have to wait 45 days ??

I have an auto immune problem and a current sinus infection. Dr Mora and her staff refused to see me. She is a non touch doctor who likes to use tests to replace personal exams and physical touch. Not exactly what I need in a doctor anymore. She never notified patients of a loss of affiliation with Bethesda Hospitals. I would avoid using this office.

Went to her for HBP and all she wants to do is run tests..same tests the hospital ran a week earlier right before I got discharged. Brought all my test results to her for my first visit so I didn't have to go through the same tests. Got blood work done and could never get my results. Refused to give me any info over the phone. Said I had to make an appointment...Fast forward to Covid 19 Pandemic. Needed a refill for my HBP meds and the staff said I had to make an appointment and come in before I could get refills. I asked for a TeleHealth visit and the office said they do not do them. All this during the stay at home orders by the President and Governor. I called several times to speak with Dr. Mora and never received a call back. During my last visit she wanted to give me a Tetanus shot....I asked why and she asked me when was the last time you had one!!!! I am there for blood pressure meds, not because I run through fields covered in rusty nails in bare feet. Stay away!!!

Horrible practice! Charged for exam that never took place. With held test results that prolonged medical treatment which resulted in an ER and ICU visit. Refused to give me copy of my medical records. Refused referral for follow visit with specialist after medical procedure. Never answers the phone or calls back.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mora for 2 1/2 years now. I have been extremely pleased with the medical care I have received at her office. She takes the time that is needed to do proper exams, and is very thorough. I consider myself lucky to have found such a great primary care doctor. I do not hesitate to recommend her.

At first Dr. Mora appears to be a caring clinician. Appearances can be deceiving! I have been a patient of hers a little over a year. In that time period I have had a few issues, one of which had me going to the ER. Every time that I call Dr. Mora's office to seek direction on what I should be doing about an issue, she never calls back. Every time this has happened she has blamed it on a staff member. I'm sorry, but a leader accepts the responsibility for the team. If a staff member is not "giving" you messages (which is done by computer in her office) that staff member should be replaced. In this case as it has happened far too often, I think it just might be time for the team "leader" to be replaced! Additionally, if you have been taking a medication for years, even when you only want a renewal, she will want you to come in. This is hard when you are on a fixed income and have to pay a co-pay every time. Plan on being in her office over an hour. Time to find another Doctor!

Dr. Melissa Mora is the kind of Doctor we need more of. Her office is friendly and caring and return calls within 5-7 minutes. Dr Mora takes the time to explain everything you need to know and if you have. Question She is more than happy to to go into depth to explain. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with her. You will give Dr Mora and her staff 5 stars. I drive 45 minutes to go to her.

I had a good first visit with Dr Mora and I can’t say anything negative about her but I had a follow up appt scheduled a few weeks after my initial visit to go over blood work, etc and get to the bottom of a cough I’ve had and I needed to reschedule the time. I tried calling the office multiple times everyday for almost a week, and left a message each day and not only did no one ever answer the phone but I didn’t get even 1 call back. Ridiculous! I’ve scheduled my follow up with another practice

I have been going to Dr Mora for years. I was with her from the very beginning and very happy. I feel confident leaving her office with correct information. Dr Mora is easy to talk with and can explain diagnoses in a way you can understand. I almost wanted to be selfish and not write this review so it would be easier to schedule my appointments, but she is a true treasure in medicine and others need to find the comfort and piece of mind from a doctor

I was a new patient and tried to schedule an initial appointment with Dr. Mora, leaving my information on the scheduling voicemail. I left two messages, the second one reflecting that I was having pain in my left arm and needed to see her and never received a return call. The calls were left a week apart. This kind of patient care is unacceptable.

When I first went to Dr. Mora she spent time talking with you and was very caring. Since her practice has grown and her staff has changed, I haven’t even been able to speak with her. I called the office 5 times and left messages saying what my medical problem was and no one called back. I pushed the button for appt. They would not let me talk to her. I asked for a call back. They said no bc I hadn’t been there for a yr. Not true. I had a physical < 1 yr ago. DO NOT USE. I WAS JUST CONSTI-PATE

I do not recommend Dr. Mora. She failed to notice abnormalities in my urinalysis which lead to a kidney infection. For other diagnosis, the only treatment options I was offered were unnecessary antibiotics and birth control that I ended up managing on my own.
