I am glad Dr. Gorman was my surgeon. I expected my surgeon to be aloof and unapproachable . When Dr. Gorman walked up her bedside mannor made me relax right away. I pranked in the operating room as I was going under, counting off like it was a rocket launch. Dr. Gorman and the whole team got a great laugh and the whole room was relaxed and ready to go. But while rnjoying a quick prank and being able to show a human side was a hugee quality I found relaxing, the team was also all business.

A few months ago I suffered a rare and dangerous posterior dislocation of my clavicle. I was completely unable to move my right (dominant) arm, and the dislocated clavicle was threatening to puncture the large blood vessels that come in and out of my heart. From what I understand, very few surgeons are experienced, or even capable of performing a reconstruction of the sternoclavicular joint. Dr. Gorman (along with Dr. Adam Seidel) did the surgery, and I couldn't be happier with the results. At

We had to move to a different physician after Dr. Gorman refused to listen to complaints in relation to a broken leg. So bad was our experience that we are paying a higher amount for insurance to go to a completely different medical system.

After my surgery, Dr. Gorman was not attentive to my recovery and ongoing issues. It was very frustrating because I was ultimately left with daily pain and she could not and did not want to troubleshoot the cause. I went to another orthopedic practice which was much better. However, I believe that there were issues with the way the surgery was performed that led to my daily pain.

In general, Dr. Gorman is an adequate surgeon, however, there was very little interaction and concern on her part when I had complications following the surgery. She said she didn't know why these complications were occurring and didn't offer any solutions. I believe her approach is to perform a surgery and then move on, letting less qualified individuals in her office deal with patients, even those who are not healing properly or where the hardware is not sound.

Dr Gorman is an excellent surgeon and genuinely cares for her patients. I had a severe military related injury that required emergency surgery. She did an amazing job, her entire staff to include the PAs, residents and ortho techs were compassionate, and most importantly technical experts in their field. I highly recommend them.
