Care Philosophy

This content was provided by Dr. Goldfarb "I am a fellowship-trained endocrine surgeon, which means I specialize in surgery of thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and neuroendocrine tumors. This is both for younger and older patients. I am also involved with clinical and research aspects of treating all types of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancers, which is a specific field focusing on the unique needs, tumor biology, treatment and survivorship journey of patients diagnosed with cancer ages 15-39.

A  personalized care plan will be developed for each patient, specific to your condition and needs. This will be done together with a multidisciplinary team or together with your referring physician. We will spend a significant amount of your visit educating, and counseling about your condition, options, and treatment decision."

Dr. Goldfarb is very personable and extremely competent. I've had personal experience with the medical staff at the Mayo Clinic and she is of the same high caliber in her training and dealings with patients. I recommended her to my own personal physician.
