Not only is Dr. Friedlander a gifted surgeon, she is kind, compassionate and honest. When making decisions about how to proceed surgically, she makes you feel like you are sitting with a friend or family member. It is so reassuring to know that she has your back every step of the way. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Dr Freidlander is a wonderful, talented, caring surgeon. I love her open and patient communication style. She always takes the time to answer all my questions, giving me time to absorb her answers and ask follow up questions until I’m comfortable. You can’t go wrong with her as your surgeon!

Dr. Friedlander is caring, personable, and highly competent. I’m back for a second surgery, unfortunately, but feel confident in her care. Today, I appreciated a call from her office to let me know that they were running late, asking me to arrive for my appointment later so that I wouldn’t have to wait so long. It was still a long wait but not what might have been.

Coming up on 7 years and I am cancer free.Going into surgery I knew my lump was benign, but it’s size was becoming uncomfortable. A week after surgery during the follow up Dr Friedlander explains that cancer had been found in the margins.Six days later I was scheduled for another surgery. I was having a lot more pain and the meds were making me sick. One call to the doctor and meds were changed. She was compassionate and the office staff was amazing with their handling of my employer paperwork.

I recently developed lower right abdominal discomfort as was suspicious of appendicitis and was recommended to see dr Friedlander right away. She was empathic professional and took me Right in on Saturday morning and perform the surgery. I was back at work on Monday and I week later totally back to normal. Thank you Melaine for an excellent job.
