I waited about 35 minutes wasn’t so bad bec it was virtual and I was multitasking. Oddly I’ve never waited with office visits. However she acknowledged the long wait and apologized. Otherwise she took a lot of time with me and did not rush. She thoroughly explained everything. I’d say 4 stars only bec I got several calls from her office about being on time.

Doctor Abromowitz has put me in "endoscopic remission" due to an aggressive and low-risk treatment plan. Previously, I saw 3 other doctors who did not treat my Ulcerative Colitis properly. Ever since I began seeing Dr. Abromowitz, I feel like a new person. At times, I have to wait, but it is worth it.

NO Bedside manner at all! She's very textbook smart so if you have no feelings and don't mind being spoken down to then this is your doctor! This has to be one of the worst experiences of my life. She made me feel like a number from the beginning. Seriously, the woman asked me what my name was as she walked in the room with her eyes glued to my chart. She was completely unresponsive when I would tell her that I'm very nervous several times! It got so bad and I was so uncomfortable that I stopped discussing my concerns. She did not recommend anything and to schedule a follow up should I want to in 6 weeks by video. I got a kick out of reading that I may have Crohn's disease in my post visit summary! But, she never even mentioned any of this to me.

Dr was not as late as what people claim, or at least I didn't notice. Her questions were very thorough. She is very intellectual, very brilliant but did try to make a connection with me. Often times people can be shy and appear cold or disinterested. I don't need personality, I don’t need a song and dance. I need brilliance and results.

Her bedside manner is horrible. Very short, very rude, and seemed very impatient. I felt like crying the entire time I spoke with her. She showed no sympathy for the scary issues I was dealing with. Doctors, please remember that you are speaking with human beings!!

I waited almost an hour and she came in looking miserable with the attitude that she really hates her job. She did some routine questions just to pretend to follow procedure. She had no interest in me and my problem. She is the worst Dr I have seen so far at Weill Cornell.
