Dr. Afaq goes far above and beyond to ensure the comfort, confidence and overall health of each patient he sees. I have had 5 major surgeries. His compassion and capabilities are simply unmatched compared to my previous doctors. When he enters the exam room you immediately feel as though your are his primary concern. He takes time to answer questions, explain procedures, or discuss prescriptions. Any patient seeking an excellent cardiologist has certainly found one in Dr. Afaq. He is priceless.

I know this will sound cheesy but I will say it anyway. Dr. Afaq saved my life, the first time I saw him I had a migraine that day and was not processing what he was telling me and how important it was to get a 21 day monitor ASAP. I walked out before getting the monitor, Dr. Afaq followed me out of the office and talked to me like I was a life long friend. Within the first 4 days of having the monitor my heart stopped 3 times. Less then 2 wks later, I had a pacemaker.

I love Dr Afaq he never make you feel like he is in a hurry. When he is seeing you, you feel like you are his only patient. But the waiting room is always full so I know that's not true. He is very thorough and answers all your questions and the family's. He also never gave up even though I was hard to diagnose, one cardiologist had aready given up on me. It took a year of test and monitoring, but I now have a pacemaker and doing much better. My mom now goes to him too.
