This content was provided by Dr. Ellison "Dr. Ellison is the President and CEO of Ellison & Associates of Raleigh, PC.  Her goal is to provide high quality, personalized, and dignified behavioral health care in a comfortable and confidential environment. Ellison & Associates opened in 2005 and has allowed her a unique opportunity to blend her clinical and managerial skills.

Dr. Ellison provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families.  Dr. Ellison graduated from East Carolina School of Medicine and completed her Residency in Psychiatry and a Fellowship in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.  She also earned a BA in Psychology at UNC-Chapel Hill and a BS in Biology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical University. Dr. Ellison is Board Certified in Psychiatry as a Diplomate of the America Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

 

Dr. Ellison's treatment uses evidenced based medicine, compassionate listening, a solution-focused approach, and collaboration with other physical health and behavioral health providers to reach improved behavioral health for her patients. Dr. Ellison is available to see patients Monday- Thursday 9am-5pm (Last Appt. 4:30pm) and every other Friday 9am-12pm (Last Appt. 11:30am)"

Maxlyn Ellison is not a good doctor. She has no bedside manner, and comes across quite judgemental. Additionally, she has no problem sharing her personal opinions that are unrelated to the diagnosis.
