I was referred to Dr. Medary by my PCP who had previously referred another patient to Dr. Medary with great success. I visited with Dr. Medary with an MRI of an issue affecting the Sciatic Nerve which was very painful. He scheduled me for surgery on 5/11/2017, and treated me as outpatient surgery. I arrived at the hospital at 8am and was home by 2:30pm, all pain gone; and never had to take pain pills. Soreness around the incision was my only discomfort. I cannot say enough this Doctor.

I have a very complex condition which many doctors didn't know how to treat. It was amazing to finally find a doctor who was not only able to treat my condition but also took the time to explain what needed to be done. Having a serious operation on your skull/brain can be a very scary experience. I not only felt comfortable with him completing the operation but also appreciate his honesty on what I could expect.

Dr. Medary kept my husband waiting for over an hour and a half, and then he spent less than FIVE minutes with him. He told him to google a kind of exercise equipment (but didn't take the time to write it down) and take Advil. That's it. Nothing about pain injection options or surgical options. I'm tempted to call the insurance company and tell them to withhold payment, if such a thing could be done. Today he received the opposite of health care.

Condescending, arrogant, doesn't listen to you, opinionated . Scary to think of him operating on me ,

Should work on bed side manners. Did not choose to go back to him.

My family physician has been treating me for back pain for several months. She recently referred me to Mad Max after reviewing my MRI. Trusting that she knew what she was doing I went to see him. HORRIBLE experience. Arrogant, impatient, rude. Told me I was wasting his time, nothing he could do for me. Which is fine, but have some bedside manner, be kind, be empathetic, not arrogant and mean.
in Orlando, FL |
By far the worst experience. The doctor hardly gave more than 2 minutes of his time and then acted like I was a waste of his time and even spoke with demeaning words. I will refrain from seeing him going forward at all costs. If I could give ZERO stars I would. Suggest finding another doc. On top of that apparently the surgery he performed on my Dad was not a success.

I would recommend Dr. Medary to anyone with a serious neurosurgical concern. He was very caring and attentive during office visits. He did a great job with my surgery and his staff was great with following up and contacting me. I have had an excellent outcome because of Dr. Medary!

He was so rude and nasty! Walked in my room after I waited an hour and a half and he walked in and he cursed at me and asked I was there. He was condescending and had the worst attitude and bedside manner. I went off on him and then I left in tears.
in Orlando, FL |
Where to start... When he walked in the room, he immediately began by saying I was too young to be in his office (I am 31 and have 6 herniated discs). I agreed and tried to explain my situation. He briefly glanced at one portion of my mri results before saying that I shouldn't have surgery, nor should I get an epidural even though I am in a great deal of pain, because it would make me gain weight which you don't need. I explained to him that I have gained weight due to fertility treaments that

I suffered with neck pain for many years and tried many remedies over time, that failed. It was time for surgery. Two people I know had personal experience with Dr. Madery. I did my research and called for an appointment that was scheduled within two weeks. Dr Madery put me at ease immediately. He is experienced, confident, competent, and his staff is very professional. He takes time to sit down and answer questions. My last post op was today and I am so pleased! Thank you, Dr Madery!!
