Went for shortness of breath, he saw me for 3 minutes or so. Didn't ask many questions about my shortness of breath, told me to come back in 9 days to do an echocardiogram. Did not even use his stethoscope. They did an EKG, doc did not explained to me if it came back normal or not, I had to ask one of the staff members. 3 minute consult and no questions asked! Maybe because I'm a new patient?

Have known Dr. Garoutte for 10 years as he was my mother-in-law's cardiologist before she passed away from cancer. He was so patient and kind to that 87 yr old woman. My husband, daughter and I see him on a regular basis. He is caring and thorough no matter what else is going on. Make a patient feel like they are the only one in the office.

He was my cardiologist for a catheterization to check my arteries. I was two blocks away from hospital and was released too soon and lost consciousness. He NEVER came to see me in the hospital ( was there four days). I went to another cardiologist with a good bedside manner. Do not use him as a cardiologist.

I took my mother to see Dr Garoutte and was overwhelmed with the care and compassion of the staff and the doctor. I'm not one to write a review for anyone, however, I was so thoroughly impressed with this office that I would be remiss if I did not say something. In a day and age where we are all treated like numbers, Dr. Garoutte and his staff treated us with compassion, displayed total interest in how he could help my mother and went about insuring that all of our needs were met. Thanks!

Dr. Garoutte is an excellent, personable physician who is totally competent, comprehensive and compassionate. His support staff is genuine, not fake or superficial. They care just as much as the good doctor. He is very thorough and all his examinations leave "no stone unturned." When they first did the sonogram on my carotid arteries and found that the right artery was 95% restricted, he scheduled me right away for surgery. I could have had a massive stroke but he saved my life.

No issue with the dr. I only saw him once. But the staff is incredibly incompetent and couldn't care less about your needs. I wasted an afternoon because someone didn't make a note of my appointment. I'll be looking elsewhere.
