The doctor was so rude to my 10 year old daughter. He clearly had no patience! He rolled his eyes and huffed and puffed at my daughter so many times during the visit because she was scared to have a scope stuck up her nose. She’s a child!!! That’s a normal reaction.

Dr. April was amazing. We were seeing a different ENT for a couple years before a colleague recommended Dr. April. He immediately recognized the issue with my daughter within moments of the visit. He is extremely thorough and explains things clearly. He removed her adenoids and partial tonsils. He and is staff could not have been any better. He followed up with us after the surgery and stayed in contact with us via email as well to address any questions that we had during her recovery. He puts you at ease and the surgical team was so warm and made my 7 year feel so comfortable.

I left the office so upset today. My 4 year old needed his tubes removed. He was nervous and scared- a very normal toddler reaction to a nurse holding him down and a dr pulling something out of his ear... Dr April held his head and said “ stop it!!,Stop it!!” While my son Was screaming/ crying. Then took his hands away when he would stop rolled his eyes and sighed in frustration. I was in disbelief! I can’t stop thinking about it.

Dr. April has taken the most wonderful care of our three children over the past 10 years. He is a kind-hearted and professional physician who has made hospital and regular visits stress free for us and our children time and time again. He has an incredible bedside manner, and we can't imagine getting better ENT care. We can't recommend him enough.

Dr. April and his staff were great! My 5 year old went in for his first appointment. Everything was explained so that I could understand it. My son was made to feel comfortable and before doing any tests, everything was explained to him too. We went to NYU for the surgery. The staff did an awesome job of explaining to my son what was going to happen to him. I was allowed to walk him into the OR and stay with him until he was asleep. We saw Dr. April multiple times afterwards along with the staff

I was referred to Dr. April by my pediatrician when my 3 year old daughter was suffering from sleep apnea, terrible snoring and disrupted sleep. I cannot say enough about his professionalism, expertise and the manner in which he interacted with my family and I. From consult to OR, we felt confident in his judgment and he has turned my daughter's life around. She is now comfortable, sleeping and generally happier because she can BREATHE easier! I would recommend Dr. A to anyone! He is incredible!

This is the first time I have ever posted a review but felt compelled to because Dr April is the best. I don't thins a persons post about a front desk person belongs on a doctors review. He is brilliant. His entire team was loving and lovely to our family. Dr April could not have been more present, informed, and attentive to our needs and our childs. My daughter is already feeling and sleeping so much better thanks to his certainty on what she needed to be healthier. Tracy Anderson

Dr April was extremely courteous and treated us with sincere devotion and kindness. He answered all our questions with patience and we felt like we got the best doctor for my daughters care. She had tubes placed in both ears. The procedure and recuperation went very well. Office and hospital staff was wonderful too. Thank You Dr April for all you have done to help our daughter achieve her maximum potential.
