Dr. W helped me with my back pain
Dr. Wiederholz was able to help me after I went to the hospital with a stabbing pain in my lower back. He was able to fit me into his schedule that day. He gave me a cortisone shot in my lower back, the next day the pain was almost gone. In two days I was pain free. His treatment allowed me to go back to a normal life, without the pain. Thanks.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!
Dr. Wiederholz and his staff are extremely helpful and compassionate in treating my spinal issues and pain. I fell from heights head first and after waking up from a coma, I had years of rehabilitation suffering from terrible pain due to my spinal fractures and nerve pain damage. Now I am under the care of Dr. Wiederholz. Everything from the ease of scheduling appointments, comprehensive understanding of my spinal pain and treatments, clear communication back to me, to follow ups, I am truly thankful for finally finding the right direction to the pain relief that I have been searching for. It is life changing.

Unbelievable Results from Treatment
I went to Doctor Wiederholz as a last resort prior to scheduling a 3 level (lumbar) fusion. I found that Doctor Wiederholz is very understanding and compassionate doctor that took the time out to educate me on my symptoms and the medical treatment (without an extensive surgery) to treat my condition. His recommendations (for Discseel) amazingly prevailed. The injections (Discseel) that Doctor Wiederholz were placed in all the right places, as he performed this medical procedure with precision despite there were hard places to reached (because of areas where I had issues were hard to reach due to the damage caused over the years: sports, car accidents, etc.). Since the procedure, there was remarkable improvement (only 3 months), I comfortably can indicate that there is no need for a 3 level fusion. I’m looking forward to future treatment other areas of my spine (with Doctor Wiederholz). To date, I’m off to an excellent start.

Excellent experience! I have had several procedures (Discseel, stem cell, PRP) for back and hip issues with Dr. Wiederholz both in NJ and Houston and I found both offices and the doctor professional and personable. Dr. Wiederholz really listens to you and offers treatments that actually are intended to heal you instead of just covering up your symptoms.

I am a disabled veteran and required stem cell treatment on my lower lumbar section of my back using my hip area bone marrow. Since the VA does not provide this kind of advanced treatment, I was sent to Dr. Wiederholz. The procedure went as planned and was painless. It has been 2 weeks and I feel great. From the moment I walked in the front door, the staff treated me like I was family. From the front desk to the nurses, the anesthesiologist and finally Dr Wiederholz, who performed the procedure. Nothing short of a 5 Star physician and would highly recommend to anyone.

It has been less than a week since I received PRP injections in the lumbar and SI region, but I am already starting to notice more strength and neuromuscular activation in the muscles of my low back. The treatment, administered by Dr. Wierderholz, was quick and deliberate. The staff made sure that no time was wasted during the process, with everything from the blood draw to the post procedure evaluation taking less than two hours. I am excited for the recovery process and am optimistic about improvements in chronic low back pain!

This is coming from a retired physician. I saw him last week for a long-standing problem that has had me seeing many pain physicians and physiatrists. I found him to take an excellent history, be very interested and to offer me a variety of treatment options, including watchful waiting. In fact I've already scheduled another meeting (telemedicine) next week to ask additional questions about the different options, to discuss some other aspects of my situation, and to get a prescription from him for a pain med which we forgot about because our discussion was so good. He also participates in the medical marijuana program as a prescriber, which can be very helpful to pain patients, and I have a separate appointment scheduled with him for that. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Matthias H. Wiederholz is an excellent doctor. Before I went to him, I was always in extreme chronic pain all over my body, especially in my lower back. He examined me and suggested for me to have X-rays taken of my lower back. I went to have them done. When he received the results of my X-rays, he told me that I have Spinal Stenosis, Disc Degeneration Disease, Sciatica, and Radiculopathy. I asked him what would he suggest in order for me to feel better. He suggested that I may be interested in the Minuteman Procedure, and he gave me a pamphlet about the Minuteman Procedure. He explained to me about the procedure in full detail and what is involved in this procedure. I decided to go have this procedure done because it is minimally evasive. I felt worse for about a week. After that time, I started feeling better and walking with less pain. After about a month, my pain level went from a 10 to a 5. I am feeling a lot better and I am glad that I had the procedure done.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wiederholz for approximately one year during which I had several joint injections and two radio frequency ablations on my lower back. I find him very knowledgeable with the most up to date diagnostics and treatments. He explains possible options in a clear manner and encourages questions and feedback. I would highly recommend Dr Wiederholz and his staff.

Dr. Wiederholz performed a tenjet procedure to debride my patellar tendon due to chronic tendonosis as well as a partial tear in the tendon. I elected to undergo the tenjet procedure versus a full blown tendon removal/attachment. Within one week of post surgery, I am pain free and my tendon feels remarkably better. I am very pleased with Dr. Wiederholz, the procedure and the post-op recommendations for physical therapy. I have seen many medical professionals over the last four years to address my knee (patellar tendon) issue, and this is the first time I believe we have addressed the issue as well as the bio-mechanic deficiency that caused the tendonosis. I highly recommend Dr. Wiederholz and his staff.

I have seen Dr. W for numerous issues over the last six years. His holistic approach towards issues is refreshing and highly effective. Him and his team act with urgency to take care of situations, most recently with my fall down the stairs and MCL. It is refreshing to work with a dedicated team where an integrated approach is used and clear guidance in the best interest of the patient is provided. In one situation, multiple doctors told me to get a coritizone injection but Dr. W strongly advised against it for long term considerations. I highly recommend Dr. W and the entire team to manage your pain!

This was my first experience of a Tele doctor’s visit. It was fabulous. Dr. Wiederholz was super prompt calling. He understood my particular ailment and needs, explained various treatment options giving me the pro and cons of each. Not long after the appointment he followed up via email providing me with further details. I am a person who likes things that are efficient, effective and well explained. Dr. Wiederholz provided exactly that.

Just had my first consultation via computer video with Dr. Wiederholtz and he was very helpful. His suggestion is one that I like, but will have to wait due to the pandemic. I'm hopeful the small procedure will be the answer. Looking forward to working with him.

I was referred to Dr. Wiederholz by my Orthopedic Surgeon as a way to try less-invasive treatment for my back injury before deciding to do surgery. Given the COVID19 pandemic right now, all contact with the doctor and support staff has been via remote sessions, but I feel the entire team has made the experience very personal. The Doc gave me all the time I needed to explain my variety of symptoms, and then asked very good follow-on questions to drive the conversation where he needed in order to get the best plan for us going forward. Sure, I'd prefer to be face-to-face with my doc, but given our situation, I feel he and his team have really stepped up their game to face the reality of what's going on right now. It's been less than 4 hours since my 'visit' with him, and I already have an appointment with physical therapy and a documented treatment plan with him once he is allowed to begin seeing patients again for elective procedures.
