Dr. Ziegler is heaven sent! He put me back together, I am still in my healing stages but everything is going well. He performed a colostomy reversal and I am very grateful for him. After my surgery he checked on me each day, the follow up appointment was a success. He’s amazing!!

Today I woke up thinking about my brother (James Clark), just as I have EVERY day since February 11, 2020 - except today was different. Today I thought how happy I am that I can wake up feeling SO SO grateful that he is alive! Truth be told for the past year I would wake up everyday thinking he wasn't going to make it. He was SO very sick and to watch him suffer the way he did weighed so heavy on me - millions of tears shed and gut wrenching sadness would overtake me. Even on the day of his surgery, I didn't think he was going to be strong enough to make it through an 8-10 hour surgery - boy was I wrong. Today.......he feels so so good (last night he told me he "felt like a million bucks" compared to how he felt on January 31st the day before his surgery). He went through more than anyone should ever have to go through in a lifetime but he did it, he fought, he was strong and he made it through!!! THANK YOU DR. ZIEGLER - THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY BROTHERS LIFE!!!

I went to Dr. Ziegler as a second opinion, and boy am I glad I did!! I needed a colon resection (sigmoid) from multiple bouts of diverticulitis. I also had lots of scar tissue inside from a previous hernia surgery from 25 years ago. Dr. Z had his work cut out for him, but did an amazing job! Two weeks later and I am already back to work (no lifting) and feeling great! His bedside manner was great and he checked on me often in the hospital. He works with Beaumont in Royal Oak, MI. The best hospital around.

Dr Matthew Ziegler is a very skilled surgeon in his field and I was blessed to have him on the team of doctors at Beaumont Hospital when I was diagnosed with Stage II Colorectal Cancer. He took charge and great care explaining my condition and making certain that his entire team was on board as to my treatment plan. I was very comfortable and at ease with decisions going forward because I trusted him completely to perform my surgery. Once I was released from the hospital a few days before Thanksgiving, he called me with the best news ever! The surgery was successful and I was Cancer free! I had heard so many wonderful things about Dr Ziegler, and I was so fortunate that he was the doctor that made my healing a reality.
