      Why Does Experience Matter?

Even specialists specialize. One orthopedic surgeon might do nothing but hip surgeries, while another does nothing but knees. If you want the best possible care, it’s critical to match your medical need with the doctor who truly specializes in treating it.

      Dr. Suh's Care Philosophy

"Have Hope - Don't Give Up!"

The diagnosis of cancer is a devastating news to patients. Even so, Dr. Suh always reminds his patients to never lose hope.

With the current advancement in cancer therapy, some stage 4 cancer patients are being cured nowadays -- something that wasn't even conceivable a generation ago. Patients with stage 4 colorectal cancer patients are now finding excellent outcome with combined chemotherapy and surgery to remove liver metastasis. Even when stage 4 cancer can't be cured, new chemotherapy regimens can make incurable cancer CONTROLLED, like any other chronic disease (like diabetes or high blood pressure).

Team approach to cancer care is paramount to success. In coordination with your oncologist, Dr. Suh performs expert liver, pancreas and laparoscopic colorectal surgeries.
