I visited Dr. Matthew Maxwell on September 27th 2017 in hopes to treat some nerve damage that the doctor said previously that I sustained from an injury three-plus years ago. So I was coming to see him about new problems not something old. The doctor told me he did not want to treat me for an old injury and he didn't feel comfortable filling out my government paperwork FMLA. He did not examine me properly he was not cooperative at all. I did not feel like I was treated as a patient should be

I was referred to Dr. Maxwell through my insurer. He seemed very knowledgeable in regard to my issues and took time to break it down for me. He also offered some good options with injections to help me during rehabilitation, which I was struggling with. Downside, he refused to give me pain meds - but I am now making steady progress so no longer needed.
