In the 15 years of seeing spinal surgeons, he is by far the worst. Should have his license taken away.

Dr. Gerlach enabled me to walk, sit, stand, sleep and even breathe again without excruciating pain. Having had 3 joint replacement surgeries I was most afraid of this spine surgery. Dr. Gerlach and Susie's skill and care expelled that fear. I'm a Medicare patient and was treated with the upmost care and respect. I recommend Dr. Gerlach to anyone who is having pain issues with their back and are afraid of the process. Can't say enough good things about Dr. Gerlach, Susie and his staff.

Dr. Gerlach performed surgery for a herniated disc on my lumbar spine. The surgery went great and the pain is gone. I appreciated how quickly he was able to see me. He explained my condition and treatment options. Once I decided on surgery, he was able to schedule my procedure within a week. He is very knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon. He was recommended by several friends as well as two other physicians.

Dr. Gerlach's skills essentially gave me a new lease on life. Formerly VERY active, I used up my spine, creating spondolythesis. I had worsening pain. After 8 yrs. I needed surgical intervention. I listened to Dr. Gerlach explain in simple detail what he could do for me. The relief was immediate. His patience & knowledge during a "road bump" continued to show me a level of caring & skill not found in today's medicine. He KNOWS his stuff & he wants to help people get better. I am thankful.

Dr, Gerlach did back surgery on me on June 21, 1916. There was never any pressure to do surgery. It was presented as a good option. My husband, daughter who is an RN amwere all impressed with him. The surgery fused L4 and L5 and scooped out around the nerve to take the away the pressure. There has been no pain, numbness or turning to jelly since the surgery. What a relief!!!!! He knows what he is doing!! In addition to this he has a great "bedside" manner too. Great combination in my book!!

Absolutely the worst! The doctor cancelled my appointment twice stating that he had an emergency surgery. How did he know he had a emergency one month in advance??? I waited 7 months to see him! When my appointment finally arrived, he spent 5 minutes with me. And did Nothing!!!!

Without going into detail, the worst orthopedic surgeon ever (and I have had a lot of orthopedic surgeries). I wouldn't let the stray cat I feed see him.
