Great doctor, communicates in a "down to earth" manner so you can understand. I would recommend him, and already have, to anyone.

Dr. Furman has been my Doctor for ten years. I loved him from the beginning. He cares and straight forward. He listens to your concerns not just about yourself but family also. I have referred him to many friends and family. I hope he continue to stay here in Temple and be my Doctor.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Furman. He really likes the doctor, but like the other comments, the office staff leaves much to be desired. Due to his nurse in Cameron, I have chosen another primary care physician. Not only does she not respond, she is hard to deal with, most discourteous and holds a grudge.

Dr. Furman is one of the NICEST Doctors I have ever met. I would have liked to continue seeing him, but his office staff is severely lacking in patient communication. For over a year I have tried to report to his office that I never receive call-backs when I leave a message for his nurse. Unfortunately for Dr. Furman, his nurse is the first and sometimes only contact his patients have with him. This experience has led me to search for another provider who has staff that will communicate with me.

Very friendly doctor and nurse. However, follow-up with patients is lacking in this office. After multiple calls for test results, with no return calls, we finally booked another appointment to get answers. Calls from home health to get info on medication refills were also not returned. I'm not sure if it's the nurse or doctor, but it's difficult to get timely information. When we asked the receptionist who else we could call to get a return call, she said just call the doc again.
