Dr Darmelio helped me when no other doctor would listen to me. I was having severe pain and limited mobility in my right knee and he took and xray and told me that I needed a full knee replacement. I had seen other doctors for the same problem and could not get any help. He has replaced both of my knees. He has a way of making people feel at ease about needing surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is having problems.

He was excellent in every respect with my bilateral quadriceps tendon ruptures and a simultaneous arthroscopic meniscal tear piece removal! His bedside manner easy personality, lack of ego and attentiveness were wonderful! He agreed to do my surgery on short notice just to insure it did not sit too long!

Quick, accurate diagnosis with suggestion for treatment in first visit. I had similar surgery with another local surgeon on the same foot a fees years ago--the results were disappointing and the recovery was much longer with that Doctor. I had a cheilectomy on 11/2/16 with Dr. Darmelio and I can see significant improvement in range of motion & it was only done 4 days ago. Minimal swelling & bruising, too. Pain not nearly as bad this time around. Highly recommended Dr. Darmelio.

His office secretary never answers her phone or returns phone calls. I've been left waiting on a simple question to schedule a follow on appointment for nearly 2 weeks. My first visit I was waiting in the waiting room for an hour and fifteen minutes to be seen. I was made to feel like it was my fault they were running behind and I was the last patient of the day. After waiting 75 minutes, Dr. Darmelio only spent 2 minutes with me and I felt I was being rushed out the door.

He's replaced both my knees and I'm very happy with them. He's a former Phys Therapist who knows specific exercises for problems like plantar fasciitis or Achilles issues. He's also very adept at giving Cortizone shots in knees and big toes. Very pleased with his overall care and demeanor!
