This is undoubtedly the worst practice I have ever seen. They cancel appointments without letting you know. No one there seems to have any idea what they are doing. It's on Dr. Crooks - you should know what is going on under your nose. Finding another doc, nothing is worth dealing with these people.

Great Doctor great staff
I have been treated successfully by Doctor Crooks since January. He is conversational, a good listener and best of all a solution provider. His staff at the office and the surgical center are friendly, professional and an all around great group.

Deplorable support staff
I was scheduled to have 3 hylaronic acid gel shots to my knee every other week. After week I had an appointed with PA who told me that I had cancelled my 2 upcoming injection appointments. This was not true. Then office manager blamed me for for not keeping an appointment that I actually had kept. They were rude and accusatory. I have no idea what was happening, and why my 2 scheduled Appointments had been cancelled without notice or explination. Also, this is the only medical office I have visited in Scottsdale or Connected that Doesn’t Require patients to wear masks or proof of vaccination. Nor do do they take COVID Seriously. I had to wait in a room over one(1) hour for my first pain injection. Staff person was rude and defensive when I asked for an explanation as to this delay. No apology No Regard for me, the patient.

Dr Crook staff is terrible and unfortunately that’s a reflection on him as well. My first visit while waiting for my appointment I witness a lady become upset on the way she was being treated was a sign I regret ignoring. I feel his practice treat people wrong and you are just another patient. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

Everyone I have encountered with his staff and facilities he uses, has been personable and professional. I’ve been trying to avoid a neck surgery and so far it has worked well with the injections. The best part, is they have not prescribed me any pain pills or other medications. We are looking at moving out of state, but for pain management purposes, I would come back here for treatments.

The staff is kind, explains things and I felt safe. I did bring a concern up to one of my nurses and I am hoping it was addressed. I’m really hoping that this gets me in the right direction to healing. Chronic pain is an awful thing to deal with mentally besides the physically. And if I’m stuck like this forever than at least I have a good team to work with. Thank you.

I am greatful and so very thankful, beyond what words can even express, of Dr. Crooks, dedication, knowledge, experience, in helping so many. My back issues were slowly robbing me of an active life, and quickly presenting an altered life filled with pain and limitations. With my procedure, Dr. Crooks has given me a second chance to live a life my husband and I invisioned as a newly retired couple. Dr Crooks staff, from the front office to the back room have all been so polite, kind, and friendly. There isn't enough good things I can say. Thank you just doesn't seem like enough, but, Thank you, Dr. Crooks, so very very much. Rachelle Hatfield

My experience today with Dr. Crooks and his staff was one of absolute excellence. I went to his office the receptionist and everybody that works in his office was so very very kind to me. I will admit I had to wait a little bit long for my appointment however the kindness overruled the time wait. After going in and laying on the table for my injection it was a pleasant experience. I was in and out so fast I didn’t believe I had even had the injection. I simply loved it! I will tell people about Dr. Crooks , and I will recommend him. I have no complaints.

I was seeing my recommended doctor having issues with my neck for 6+ weeks with no help. It wasn't until my work got me in contact with Dr. Crooks and his team, they got me in the following week, no questions asked and started working with me on my neck/arm/hand issues. Right away Dr. Crooks and his team could tell me what they saw, referred me to a neurosurgeon, and started treatment immediately with cortisone shots to try to help with the pain/issues. Amazing staff & team, the care, the time you take to actually help your patients. There are not alot of doctors and staff out there in the world who are just AMAZING at what they do, but by golly, let me tell you, the select individuals taking care of you are A++ in everything. Thank you for not only always listening, but for just caring, it goes along way in the end.
