i find him to be very knowledgeable, but my visit with him didn't last 7 minutes. He was too hurried. I have many questions. He didn't exam anything. I hate it when at the end of a visit where the doctor has really done nothing, he listens to my lungs as if to satisfy me that he cares. Puh-lease! Sit down, and don't act like you are too busy for me to be there.

Dr. Carroll is thorough and fantastic. He takes a lot of time to explain and talk through with me as a patient. He is very kind and personable and genuinely cares about his patients. I look forward to every appointment and communication from him to hear his insights. I also really like his nurse Holly. All his staff and his phlebotomist are so kind. I feel so blessed to have been referred to him. Dr. Carroll, you are excellent! He is the “gold standard” physician! -A. Joachinson

Dr. Carroll has been amazing thus far. I leave my appointments feeling hopeful and not overwhelmed, like so many other specialists I have seen. He encourages questions and answers with ease and in a way that I can relate to or understand. His staff is super friendly too :) Highly recommend!

Was very disappointed with Dr Carroll because all I saw was good reviews but was not the case on my appointment day, first of all he just looked at me like if all was in my head, second didn’t even prescribe any meds for pain at least ibroprofin, he didn’t even spend much time and said he would run blood work to see if it could be something else and not Sjogrens which is what I have been diagnosed by other doctors over and over and even confirmed with a lip biopsy but still stated that he couldn’t provide me with anything unless bloodwork showed something bad and HE felt it was necessary, I was like wth you are not in my to feel the pain I’m in, i can barely get up from my bed in most days. I’m new to the gulf coast area and just so disappointed by the limited of choices i have with specialty doctors. Might have to look into traveling if it gets me a better doctor who’s more caring of their patients.

Dr. Carroll is a thorough Dr. He was very good at answering all of my questions on my first appt when I had no idea what to expect of RA. He continues to follow up on my care with the same precision as the first. I would highly recommend him.

He didnt spend more than 5 min with me. My primary and ortho were so disappointed with him that they're having to refer me to a better rheumatologist, and now I will have to travel over an hr away. Dont waste your time. He has a horrible bedside manner.

Dr Carroll is a wonderful caring Rheumatologist. He was recommended by a friend and I was fortunate to get in to see him. He was very thorough with the exam especially of my hands that were hurting so bad. He then ordered more specific tests to see if it was rheumatoid arthritis as an earlier blood test indicated or just a very bad flare if my fibromyalgia. He talked to us at length and also said not to hesitate to contact him by email. Wonderful experience.
