Dr Boardman is a hand surgeon. My initial consult - he was very short no empathetic or even caring demeanor. He noted I had the same surgery on my opposite hand & was referred by another orthopedic surgeon, basically dismissed me to his scheduling nurse. The day of surgery I asked him a few questions for clarification, in my husbands presence, the good doc asked me if I wanted the procedure done. I should have said no and looked for someone else. He has now been on extended leave 3-1 to 5-1 min
