Diagnosed with Stage 1 Kidney Cancer because of a liver scan that happened to catch the Cancer. Saw Dr. at UNC Robotic Surgery. Had a harder case because the cancer was right at the blood vessel that supplies blood to the kidney. 50/50 shot to keep the kidney. Schedule for 2 hour surgery. 4 hours later kept 1/2 the kidney. Dr. Raynor is the go to guy for Robotic Kidney Cancer surgery. Saved My Life.

I met Dr. Raynor today and he was not hurried when in the room with myself and my husband. We had many questions which he answered to our satisfaction. He explained all the possible solutions to my kidney cancer and showed us our CT scan and exactly what he would be doing. He is young and very talented so YES he is going to be my choice and I feel very fortunate to have had him recommended to me. He even suggested some Doctors from Duke that I might get a second opinion with when I ask.
