On the day of your consultation with Dr. Broukhim, she will perform a complete history and physical examination. As part of her physical exam, she will assess your risk for breast cancer, and will perform a breast sonogram. She will review all of your radiological studies and reports and provide recommendations regarding your breast health. If you are at high risk for breast cancer, you will be enrolled in a surveillance program which will observe and monitor you more closely.
Please remember to bring your most recent mammogram and sonogram films and the corresponding reports. If you have had any prior biopsies, you will need to provide us with pathology reports. If your insurance requires referral for the specialist, please make sure you obtain it from your PCP prior to your visit.
