Word of warning: you are probably going to be abandoned except for pricey treatments in office. nurse practitioner and front desk just left... You'll probably hear that you aren't getting a receipt because "the printer is broken" or something. The cost of treatments is excessive especially compared to other offices. Promises are not kept. Doesn't matter your child's emergency. You won't get a call unless you're paying $30,000 for treatment. After you do that, you will be back to no contact.

She's an outstanding Doctor. She goes above and beyond for her patience. She's the best in the country. She was able to diagnose my 46 year old brother that has CP with PANDAS. Where every other doctor just tried to keep him medicated with anti depressants. Dr. Latimer is the only one after 2 years of searching that was able to get to the root of my brothers problem. I'm just the 1st month we have seen great improvement. Thank you Dr. Latimer!

A million thanks to this Dr. Office! They gave us hope and a plan to cure our son with PANDAS. We have felt so alone in this process until now. The amount of time they spent with our son, listening to our history, examining him, and coming up with a plan was amazing. It was so refreshing to feel understood and have hope again!

We have seen Dr. Latimer 3 times over the past 6 months. She took the time to sit, talk, discuss, listen and interact with our daughter. We appreciated the time she did spend with us. However, she is never on time. Our first visit we were told that she was running 90 minutes late so we walked around Georgetown and had lunch. The second visit's wait wasn't as long, but still an inconvenience. During our third visit we waiting for over 90 minutes with no clue as to when we would be seen.

Dr. Latimer is at the forefront of research and patient care for children afflicted with PANDAS and PANS. She is making a critical difference in the lives of children (and their families), and we are grateful for her hard work and dedication toward helping our child, and many others, recover from this illness. We travel two hours to get to her office, which is a long day - - but there are no doctors in the Baltimore area treating these patients - - so she is well worth the time and distance!

We took our son to see Dr. Latimer because she was listed as an expert in her field. We have only had one appointment because every follow-on appointment was a no-show or cancelled the day of the appointment. The staff is extremely nice but Dr. Latimer did not appear focused, gave us a blood kit that had already been used, and seemed unable to provide a simple school medication form in order for my son to receive medication at school. I would not recommend Dr. Latimer to anyone.
