I LOVE DR.BUSS!! After my first visit I was elated. I see the Dr. often because of MS. She was the 1st Dr. who ever truly listened to me. She even held eye contact while typing her notes!!! I was allowed to address more than 2 things like most Drs. She addressed every one of them. She’s patient, knowledgeable, kind and everything a person could want in a Dr. . The ONLY downfall is since moved from her prior office to the hospital, appointments were 2 months out. That’s even if you schedule for a follow up right after your appointment. Even then, the last time I got her Nurse Practitioner. We were on a whole different page. It was like she didn’t even read my chart. This happened twice, and with no results. So, I had to change Drs. That’s ONLY because I couldn’t see her. She’s fantastic, if you only go once or twice a year. Make sure you reiterate that you NEED to see her and not the NP.

I find Dr Buss to be deeply committed to my wellness. She listens carefully and allows me to have a say in my medical care. I have long term emotional control issues which she patiently accommodates. She is thorough and knowledgeable. Her triage nurse is attentive and responsive. I hope it is never again necessary to change primary physicians.

My previous internist retired and after extensive research decided to try dr buss. Saw her this morning for a new patient visit. Good review of all my current health issues and recommendation of future care. Felt very comfortable and confident with her care.

Dr. Buss herself is ok but her office staff is incompetent. You ALWAYS have to leave a message and you may or may not get a phone call back after several hours. When she moved from KC Internal Medicine to St Luke's East I had to fill out a large amount of paperwork to get my Mom's records transferred but only some of the info transferred. Important info like meds did not, like who to contact did not. Today we had an appt but upon arrival they said it was canceled. We were not notified.
