Dr. Black was friendly and very knowledgable. I had several physicians examine my shoulder without success of pinpointing the issue. After three full rounds (not sessions) of PT, the pain was worsening. Dr. Black was patient and thorough and was able to locate the exact spot that was causing so much trouble. Through I hope surgery isn't required (rexent MRI result is pending), I am thankful to have found an expert in this field.

My knee was in extreme pain and was diagnosed with a meniscus root tear. Dr. Black diagnosed my problem right away and made several recommendations so I had several choices of treatments. I chose physical therapy with several knee injections. The meniscus failed to repair itself with physical therapy and I was in great pain. Dr. Black was very understanding and helped me schedule a quick date for surgery. The surgery is very intricate, Dr. Black did an amazing job and was very involved in ensuring I had great followed care. I am still healing, however the surgery has been a great success and the pain is gone. I can feel my knee growing stronger everyday. Dr. Black has been a great advocate and totally honest from day one. I could not ask for anymore than that. I look forward to a full recovery and can only thank Dr. Black for doing such a fantastic job. Thank you Dr. Black!

Dr. Black did surgery on my left shoulder several years ago. She’s very professional and did a great job. Having AS can cause issues with bone spurs in the joints and so I’m back again to see Dr. Black, confident in the care I’ll receive. ??

Dr.Black is very professional and a great surgeon. I would recommend her to anyone needing shoulder correction. My surgery was great and the healing went well. With any orthopedic issue, you the patient have to do the physical therapy. The physical therapy staff at North Grove medical were great also and they worked my shoulder back to health. Thank you Dr. Black and the North Grove physical therapy team! Sincerely, Joseph Ruppe

I love Dr.Black she is a kind and caring lady. When I first went in & didn't know what was wrong with my knee she told me in a very detailed conversation that my ACL & MCL has been torn. Then she showed me on a manican & physically how she would repair it. An where my incisions would be. I had my surgery May 3,2016 & with PT & her help only a month after I was up & walking (before surgery I couldn't bend my knee but 35° a month later I was able to bend it 84°) which is a huge improvement

Mary Black's rating of 3 is too high for someone so neglegent. I don't know her well, because she spent very little time with me. She must still be practicing only because of her family name. And, my injury is worse now than it was before I saw her
