Dr. Leder's bio

This content was provided by Dr. Leder "Got involved with Diabetes and Endocrinology when I was in the Navy as a young physician. I was asked to care for a type 1 diabetic who was pregnant and having multiple episodes of ketoacidosis. I gave her insulin prior to each meal as well as basal insulin. She had a good baby and the four stripper placed me in the Endo Clinic at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital. This was back in 1961 and am still doing it. I am a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the College of Endocrinology . I belong to the American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society, American Association of ClinicalEndocrinologists and am certified in bone densitometry. I also maintained certification in Internal medicine by taking the Endocrine Modules in 2013 and 2014 I enjoy work and try to help sort out and treat the many different problems facing patients with complex Endocrine problems"
